The Bold And The Beautiful Crew Shakes Up? One Soap’s Loss Another Soap’s Gain? Fans NOT COMFORTABLE

It is no secret that Daytime fans are very passionate about the soaps they love, and are very vocal about their opinions. The Bold And The Beautiful fans recently offered their two cents over a possible crew shakeup that could lead to a very different experience of the CBS soap. It all started when Days of Our Lives head writer, Ron Carlivati, exited the soap.

Ron had been working in the DOOL writing room for almost seven years, thus the exit will certainly create a lot of changes at the script level on the Peacock soap. However, an extension of this shakeup could also enter CBS’ B&B, if Ron lands a job at the soap! While there is no official confirmation regarding this yet, we know these things happen.

One soap’s loss is always another’s gain. Ron Carlivati himself has shuffled between many soaps, such as Days, General Hospital, and OLTL. Thus, a B&B fan posed the question on an online chat forum asking if The Bold And The Beautiful fans would be up for this possible change. The response was a mixed bag of opinions.

Some fans had a rather strong response towards not wanting to see Ron writing for Bold and Beautiful. Meanwhile, few others felt that the CBS sudser is already struggling and has already fallen from grace. Thus, a new writer, even if it’s Ron, won’t really make any difference.

“Gosh no. He ruined days. There must be someone else,” urged True_Extension3011 on Reddit. Meanwhile, CatchinUpNow feels that, “He certainly wouldn’t hurt it cuz it’s already scraping the bottom of the barrel.” For the unversed, Bradley Bell is currently the head writer for B&B. Unfortunately, the fandom does not appear very pleased with him either.
