Days of Our Lives’ Jessica Serfaty Withdraws Allegations Against Her Fiancé: ‘I Would Never Stay With an Abusive Man’

Sounds like it has been a difficult time of late for Days of Our Lives fave Jessica Serfaty (ex-Sloan). It all started on July 21, when the actress shared to social media a video in which she alleged that she had been struck by her fiancé, Leonardo Del Vecchio, Page Six reports. A day later, she posted a message, one in which she withdrew her initial statement.
“Leo and I apologize for any who were triggered or affected by yesterday’s story,” she wrote. “Sometimes a family can have their own arguments and these should never be made public… ”
Perhaps anticipating that some of her followers might fear that she had been pressured into taking back what she had originally said, Serfaty made one thing clear: “I would never stay with an abusive man… which Leonardo Del Vecchio is not.
“I revoke my words that were driven by anger and not in truth,” she added. “I take back my words on a guy that will always be a companion, stepfather and family person to me.” (Serfaty has a teenage son from her first marriage.)
The Days of Our Lives alumna got engaged a year ago this month to Del Vecchio, who is an heir to the Luxxotica empire that made his late father the richest man in Italy. “You are of infinite importance to us,” Serfaty Instagrramed to Del Vecchio in June on her and her son’s behalf. “We love you so so much, Leo!
