Sometimes, it’s both hilarious and a little shocking, right? Also, if you’re going to call someone out, make sure you know what you’re talking about. And Maurice Benard did know exactly what he was doing. Read on to catch the whole tea!

Benard’s Harsh Take on a Castmate, Who Could It Be?

It all began when a General Hospital viewer posted a picture of an actor from the soap on X/Twitter. They asked fellow fans to drop a heart emoji if they loved Maurice, and if not, just to move on. You know, that whole “if you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything” deal. Well, most fans played along and showed their love.

But then, Benard himself swooped in, and let’s just say he didn’t hold back! Moreover, the soap vet retweeted the post with a surprising twist. He wrote, “I’m not a fan. I don’t think he’s a good actor, and I don’t think he’s that good-looking.” Then, he softened up and added, “He may be a little sexy, but that’s it.” Ouch! Talk about a mic-drop moment!

It was all in good humor, though, and GH fans loved it. Additionally, they laughed along with Benard’s cheeky honesty. However, Benard’s harsh take didn’t sit well with them, and they were quick to defend the actor. Some did mention they’re not thrilled with Sonny’s recent antics on the show. There’s no denying that things will only get more intense with Sonny.
