Brady’s had something of a wild love life over the years, but hooking up with his uncle’s mother still isn’t something we were really expecting for John’s son. But at the same time, we never thought even just a year ago that we’d ever meet Xander’s mother on Days of Our Lives, so how could we have seen this coming? Even more surprising? How much fun Brady and Fiona are together.

That fun, though, comes at a cost. Because while the duo works surprisingly well, they’re also bringing out the worst in each other as they feed each other’s addictions. And things are about to get very dark, very fast.

At the Salem Inn, a shirtless Brady holds Fiona's head as he kisses her. She wears a silk robe

Eric Martsolf promised Soap Opera Digest that, “This little tryst that they start, what I can say without spoiling anything is it’s not just a one-and-done thing. It actually unfolds into other events. It comes into play down the line and will lead to a storyline that I’m looking forward to everyone actually seeing, because it’s quite a wild ride.”

And judging by this week’s spoilers (and this week’s preview video), this ride may come dangerously close to going off the rails. We know Fiona’s driving a passed out Brady home, only to end up in what looks to be a car accident. Combine that with a crime scene Brady and Fiona are fleeing and Sarah going missing, and suddenly, Brady and Fiona don’t seem nearly as much fun anymore.

All that we’ve seen between the two, Martsolf told SOD, “is just the green light of this entire roller coaster between Fiona and Brady.”

Whatever happens, if Sarah is involved, we’re pretty sure she’s going to come out of this OK, seeing as how Linsey Godfrey and Paul Telfer promised us that “Xarah” will still be together many months from now. But we also have a feeling that this disaster heading our way this week will kick off not just a crisis for Brady and Fiona, but the heavy storyline Telfer and Godfrey promised is heading our way.

So get ready, because even if everyone does come out of this alive, we’ve got a feeling no one will emerge unscathed.
