Victor Webster burst onto the Days of our Lives scene back in 1999 as Nicholas Alamain. The actor has gone on to carve out a successful career post-daytime. Now, he’s making headlines because of his personal life.

Moving On

People had the scoop on the actor’s split from his wife, Shantel VanSanten (The BoysOne Tree Hill). The couple filed for divorce back in January 2023 less than two years after they’d gotten married. According to court documents, the duo have agreed to divide their assets, including how custody of their dog, Nova, will be shared.

Webster has sole ownership of the pup, but his ex can visit with the dog for extended periods of time. However, if VanSanten keeps Nova for more than three weeks, she’ll have to pay $10,000 a day until she returns the dog.

Per his Instagram, Webster is enjoying having Nova in his care. “Baby girl loves the adventures,” Webster wrote. “I get out and explore so much more because she enjoys it so much. Cheers to my adventure buddy. Pure of heart, full of love and will never let me down.”

“Oh, Nova loves you so much,” wrote Christine Cameron, “she would scramble eggs for your breakfast and serve them to you, if only she could. Clearly, you are her King. It’s a bond so beautiful and a special treat for your fans to share your adventures together with us.”

It’s not just Nova that the two shared. The couple had two cats named Finnegan and Phillippa. They will be taken care of by Webster’s brother Vince. VanSanten will pay her former brother-in-law $1500 per year for both cats as long as they remain alive and under his care.

Webster and VanSusten will sell their home in Los Angeles and divide the profits. Neither is getting spousal support; however, she will pay Webster $25,000 to equalize their divorce.
