Things couldn’t be much worse for Days of Our Lives’ ‘Xarah’ onscreen these days. Still, this is one of the few times that the drama between Xander and Sarah doesn’t come from within the relationship, but without. Namely, in Xander’s mom, Fiona, running Sarah down with her car and paralyzing her. But who knows how bad it’ll get once everyone figures out that Fiona hit her own daughter-in-law!
What we’re seeing on screen now, though was filmed quite a few months back thanks to Days of Our Lives’ advanced shooting schedule and Paul Telfer and Linsey Godfrey recounted to Soaps.com how difficult and close to home this story hit both of them. Of course now that things are calming down behind the scenes, the show put Telfer and Godfrey through their paces once again, throwing a series of questions at “the newlyweds” about Xander and Sarah for a little something the show calls “DOOL’ing Couple”!
As you can see, the two mostly matched up with knowing their characters, which is why Telfer couldn’t help but note in the comments that, “Great minds think alike. (And so do goofy ones apparently…)”
It isn’t the first time the actors faced off against each other over a series of questions as a little while back they duked it out over their Sarah and Xander knowledge for Days of Our Lives‘ mini game show, Beat the Hourglass. And the two were just as delightful then!
This time, though, we weren’t always sure where Xander and Sarah ended and Telfer and Godfrey began. Godfrey’s cheeky, “Some of us get to the point real quick,” when they were asked “Who is a better storyteller?” seemed hilariously pointed towards her scene partner rather than his fictional character. But hey, all’s fair in love and quizzes!
