His professional life was already in turmoil after the demerger, then Chelsea’s shocking betrayal sent his personal life in the loop as well. However, the upcoming episodes might bring him some temporary respite if not a permanent one, and our Lady Red will be the messenger of good news!

The latest The Young and The Restless Spoilers reveal that in the upcoming episodes, Phyllis Summers approaches Billy Abbott with a proposition. We know that Billy is struggling with his one-man show at Abbott-Chancellor. He had already shot himself in the foot by firing Lily, and then refused to accept Chance’s demand to make him co-CEO.

Billy’s refusal resulted in Chance walking out of Abbott-Chancellor, leaving Billy alone in the driver’s seat. Now, the spoilers don’t specifically say that Phyllis will propose to join Abbott-Chancellor, but well, she is in need of a job. Thus, chances are high that she’ll propose to become Billy’s COO and help run the company.

If Billy agrees to hire Phyllis for the job, he may also score a little personal benefit out of it. We know the two have a romantic history together, but they haven’t been together for a long time. In fact, the last time they were physically involved, Gina Tognoni was playing Phyllis. So, if Billy and Phyllis do get involved in an office hookup it’ll be a nice chem test for the actors!
