Clyde Weston Makes Shocking Comeback!
Days of Our Lives Comings and Goings spill that Clyde Weston, played by James Read, is heading back to Salem! As always, he’s got some schemes up his sleeve. So, where was he all this time? The character has been in solitary confinement for a long stretch, unable to interact with anyone. However, DOOL is about to lift that restriction.
So, Clyde will finally have the chance to make his move. During the week of September 16-20, James Read will reprise his iconic role as Clyde Weston. Moreover, the Peacock soap fans have undoubtedly missed this villain’s chaotic presence, so his return will likely be dramatic! Interestingly, this time around, Clyde won’t just sit idle.
We can expect him to stir up trouble as he bumps into some DAYS characters. Furthermore, he’s slated to have some tense interactions, where he’ll grill and get grilled in return. One of the important people Clyde will reach out to is Dr. Mark Greene (Jonah Robinson). Clyde is counting on Dr. Greene to help execute a shady plan involving a fake Abigail DiMera (AnnaLynne McCord).
If everything goes as per Clyde’s wishes, this faux Abigail will fool Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) into marriage. After all, why wouldn’t he love grabbing a piece of the DiMera fortune, right? Or maybe he just wants to create more havoc for Chad, someone he’s always had bad blood with. But that’s not all! Meanwhile, Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) will also visit Clyde to look for answers.
He has suspicions about “Abigail’s” sudden return, and he won’t rest until he discovers the lady’s identity. Next, Michael J. Craven is set to appear as a cop. The man might get caught up in the ongoing drama surrounding Paulina Price (Jackée Harry). Finally, Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) and Hope Williams Brady (Kristian Alfonso) are also making a comeback with a new storyline.
Their joint comeback is set for May 2025, with Bo waking from his coma.
