Y&R Bombshell: Mark Grossman Teases Adam’s Explosive Move – Who’s Getting the Middle Finger?

The Young And The Restless Spoilers - Adam

Being a misunderstood character is perhaps Soap 101. Yet there are some who bare the brunt of it more than others. The Young and The Restless star Mark Grossman feels that’s exactly true for his character Adam Newman. He has been a deeply misunderstood man all his life, even by those closest to him. Hence, it is no surprise that he is always at loggerheads with his family. Especially, with his father – Victor Newman.

Yet, there is nothing more he’d like than to live up to the Victor Newman Jr. name, his portrayer Mark Grossman believes. But that’s not all he wants for his character. “I would love to do a storyline where  Adam started his own business and was doing his own thing, and it was a big kind of middle finger to the family,” Mark told Soaps.com.

Furthermore, the popular soap star added that he loves it when Adam works with Jack Abbott on The Young and The Restless. Moreover, he enjoys that the said collaboration sort of “triggers” Victor Newman. Well, of course, Jack is his biggest nemesis, so it makes sense. “I guess what I’m saying is I enjoy any time Adam can stick it to Victor,” he jokes.

Mark even adds that he actually loves working with Peter Bergman as he brings out the best in everyone he works with. Well, if that’s what Adam wants, we think he really should join forces with Jack. In fact, it would serve a two-fold purpose. Adam would get what he wants. Meanwhile, Jack gets to stick it to Victor for stealing Kyle away from him.

Wouldn’t it be sweet sweet revenge? We don’t get to see Victor Newman squirming too often, so if we get the chance, we’d take it!
