As We Wait for Bold & Beautiful’s Thomas to Return, Matthew Atkinson Is Preparing for ‘Our Next Adventure’

Thomas’ quick return to Los Angeles on The Bold and the Beautiful earlier in the month caught us all by surprise — especially when he announced his engagement to Paris! But we’ve got to admit, we were almost as surprised at how quickly he skipped town once again and headed back overseas! We guess he, Paris and Douglas really wanted to focus on being a family together — which is apparently now something Thomas shares with his portrayer, Matthew Atkinson.

Last November, the Bold & Beautiful actor married fiancée Brytnee Ratledge in a beautiful Lake Tahoe ceremony. And now, it looks like this coming November is going to be an equally momentous month for them! Because Ratledge just shared a photo on Instagram of her and her hubby, blissfully happy as she shows off her baby bump. That’s right, baby bump.

The couple is expecting their first child in November of 2024. Or, as Ratledge put it, “Our next adventure.”

Adorably, they also included 101dalmaisels in the announcement, which is the Instagram account of their four-legged baby, Maisel. As Ratledge’s sister, Bry commented, “I love how Maisel was included in the collaboration.”

The joyful reactions started coming in fast with Ashley Jones (Bridget) writing, “I am so excited for y’all,” and Days of Our Lives‘ Tamara Braun (Ava) adding, “Gorgeous mama. I love you so much.”

While we’d love to get Thomas back in Los Angeles and back on our screens fulltime, this is definitely news to celebrate! Congratulations are in order for the happy couple and we here at Soaps.com couldn’t be more excited for them. We’re sure Maisel will be equally happy to have a two-legged little sibling!
