The Bold and the Beautiful: The REAL REASON Krista Allen DID NOT RETURN, Backstage Beef, Weighing In On What’s Next For Taylor

The Bold and the Beautiful fans were taken by surprise when Taylor Hayes suddenly made her way back to the screen. The makers managed to keep the news hush-hush until the very end and thus, managed to create a huge stir with Steffy’s mom’s shocking return. For the unversed, Taylor left the canvas in 2023, when B&B didn’t renew Krista Allen’s contract.

Reports suggest that the makers wanted to put Krista on recurring, however, she wanted to continue her contract status, which she had had since 2021. Unfortunately, the star and the production were not able to find common ground and the character was sent off the canvas. However, less than a year later, Taylor has been brought back!

Although this time, the character is being portrayed by seasoned Daytime star – Rebecca Budig. While her debut as Taylor was totally unexpected, it was met with mixed response from The Bold and the Beautiful fans. Don’t get us wrong, the fans have no qualms with the actress or her performance, she is undoubtedly phenomenal, and everyone acknowledges that.

However, their interest in Taylor and her return storyline stands debilitated. Most fans are concerned that her return is once again going to bring to the surface the dormant triangle that B&B has thrived on for decades. But the fandom wants something else now. They can’t help but question the makers on how many times are they going to rehash the same storyline!

Hence, if the makers want to make Taylor’s return work, they will have to give her a storyline outside of a love triangle with Brooke and Ridge. Perhaps she could find a new man to romance, or even dip her toes into some business venture. That, we can get behind, the same old love triangles- not so much!
