How many deaths does a murderer have to rack up before they’re officially dubbed a serial killer? We ask, because as of today, it looks like Days of Our Lives’ Connie just upped her body count as Bobby (Or was it Everett?) succumbed to her poisoning.

More: Two inevitable returns heading our way

We thought yesterday that she may have only ended up killing one of Everett’s personalities, allowing the other one to live. But while Bobby was the one poisoned, before dying, Everett emerged one final time to tell Stephanie he loved her. And just like that, Connie murdered two people at once.

We suppose we should have seen the writing on the wall once Connie learned he knew she murdered Li. But even knowing she was a killer, we guess we, like Bobby when she promised to get Rafe out of the way for him, didn’t take her seriously enough. Now he and Everett both look to be well and truly dead.

Jada found no pulse after Everett’s tearful goodbye, instead just finding all the evidence Connie planted framing Bobby for Rafe’s attack.

Berris was cagey back in the fall when the news broke that he’d re-joined the show, saying at the time that you never knew how long he’d be sticking around, but he was still filming. And since the show films at least six months in advance, we knew that would be keeping him likely into the summer.

While we haven’t gotten official word that Berris is exiting, Soap Opera Digest shared an interview with Abigail Klein about his departure, in which she talks about how much she loved the Bobby/Everett/Jada/Stephanie triangle. (Or is that a quadrangle?) “I wish we could have filmed even more of that,” she tells SOD. “Because I do think, and this is a testament to Blake Berris, that he really made Bobby likable. And Bobby and Jada had chemistry. You were like, ‘Wait. I want to see more of that.’ That’s what was so fun.” In the end, she says, “I’ll miss that.”

Still, seeing as how this is Salem, you can never quite be sure if death will stick these days. Heck, Berris himself has come back a time or two, with his former character Nick, returning from death once before finally being laid to rest for good. (And then returning as both a zombie and an emissary of the devil!)
