Days of Our Lives Shock: Casey Moss Spills on Rekindled Romance with Former Co-Star – Sparks Fly Again?

It’s always nice to see JJ back on Days of Our Lives. And it’s just beautiful that this latest return was all in the name of love. JJ married Chad and Abigail in an intimate, emotional ceremony in Paris, reuniting with his once-lost sister and putting her back together with her one true love. Except… she’s not actually Abigail. She just got caught in a lie about talking to JJ and the entire wedding is a sham.
Worse? The whole thing has put Chad’s life in danger! So that kind of sours the whole heartfelt family reunion. But if there’s anyone who knows how it feels to be unlucky in love, it’s JJ. So don’t worry Chad, we’re sure he gets it. And no matter how things shake out, we were still thrilled to see Casey Moss again!
In real life, Moss is doing light years better in the romance department than his lovelorn character. He met fiancée True O’Brien on the set of Days of Our Lives back when she was playing Eve’s late daughter, Paige, and they’ve been together ever since!
The actor chatted with Soap Opera Digest recently about their relationship, and he confirmed that yes, the two have been happily engaged since 2022. And that engagement came after eight years of being together!
“We’ve been together for a decade,” he shared, ever since meeting in 2014. That kind of lasting love is something that’s not just unheard of for JJ, but for virtually everyone but the longtime vets in daytime!
And life couldn’t be better now that they’ve settled into life together.
“I just hang out with the love of my life,” he explained to SOD. “We’re very tight, and we have a tight-knit friend group. It’s funny, once you start getting older and people have kids. The going out and partying days are over.”
And hey, we can’t knock that. When things work, they just work, and we all find our own rhythm with our loved ones. So while JJ’s romantic life may be littered with heartbreak, we could not be happier that Moss and O’Brien have found true, happy love!
