Days of Our Lives casting updates suggest another feud coming up on the soap. Phillip Kiriakis is making a return in Salem and so is the portrayer John-Paul Lavoisier. The actor has confessed and given us an insight on his return as Phillip and what it entails. It looks like big changes are coming up and Xander is in for some tough times. John Paul Lavoisier Is Set to Reappear This Week
DOOL fans will get to witness Phillip Kiriakis return to Salem as John Paul is all set to reprise the role this week. It will be his third time appearing on the soap, but he has been a part of the storylines since 2015. The upcoming episode of October 25, 2024, will feature his return, so fans can stay tuned to catch up.
Phillip was last seen on the show for a short duration when he came in to attend the memorial of his father Victor Kiriakis. Back then, he established the fact that he is indeed alive. Phillip also convinced Brady to drop the charges against him for framing Brady with his own murder accusations.
Thereafter he left the city with Chloe and made it clear that he does not have any interest in joining his father’s legacy Titan. Now that Phillip is on his way back, at a time when Xander may go all the way to trade Titan with Kristen DiMera in exchange for Sarah’s serum, it looks like he is back with a plan. Has Phillip changed his mind already? Is he here for the empire?
John Drop Hints On His Storylines
The actor in an interview with Soap.com has revealed that Phillip is back for his birthright, to protect Titan from being ruined by the wrong people and by wrong people he means Xander Kiriakis. John says that Phillip is here to continue his family legacy like his father would have wanted it to carry forward. Also, he added, “to make it even better, to do things that maybe his father couldn’t have”.
Well as the spoilers for the week of October 21-25, 2024 suggest, this week will feature Kristen DiMera demanding Titan from Xander Kiriakis. Ignoring all the protests from Sarah Kiriakis, Xander will consider the deal so from here on Phillip will embark on his journey to save Titan. He will not only put a break on the deal but rather will bring a war on with Xander to protect the company.
As for how long Phillip will stay in the town, John mentioned that though the duration of his trip remains undisclosed, he is here for quite some time as the storyline suggests. He will be battling to save Titan from the disasters and downfall so fans will get to witness a tough fight between Xander and Phillip in the series.
Further during the interview, John playfully shared that all the times he had been asked to join DOOL, it has come around his birthday month March. Due to which, he was found working on the set on day of his birthday. As it has happened twice already, it seemed like a birthday present to the actor as he mentions. John also added, that, this time it won’t be as short lived as it was during the time when he joined the show to be featured in Victor’s memorial. Clearly Phillip is back to bring the drama on!
