General Hospital Friday, July 5 Update: Nina’s News for Drew, Sonny’s Price of Revenge, Josslyn & Trina’s Official Move

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Friday, July 5, reveals that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will sound the alarm and try to stop Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) from targeting Ava Jerome (Maura West).

Dante will warn that Sonny could lose Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) in the custody battle that’s brewing, but Sonny will insist that’s not going to happen and may refuse to back down.

As far as Sonny’s concerned, Ava needs to pay the price for her actions, so he’ll no doubt keep trying to get his revenge.

Meanwhile, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) will confront Natalia Ramirez (Eva LaRue) over her recorded comments and how hurtful they were.

Natalia has done some serious damage, so Kristina will complain about Blaze aka Allison “Allie” Rogers’ (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) pain as well as her own.

Ava may have been the one to leak that recording, but Kristina won’t let Natalia off the hook for everything she said – even if she thought it would remain behind closed doors.

Kristina will defend her serious romance with Blaze and try to convey just how much Natalia’s daughter means to her.

Despite Natalia’s bigoted way of thinking, Kristina will make it clear that she’s not going to let anyone downplay her love for Blaze.

Next, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will have a meeting about Blaze, so they’ll do some strategizing and try to figure out how to save her career while putting things back on track at Deception.

Other GH spoilers say Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) will show some optimism as she discusses Drew’s unique opportunity – one that could help someone else out as well.

Whether this involves Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) campaign manager idea or perhaps Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) wellness division, Jordan will have high hopes.

At one point, Curtis will pop up and talk about doing everything he can to make something happen, so he’ll show off some determination in Friday’s episode.

As for Nina, she’ll have some important news to share with Drew, so that may involve smoothing things over when it comes to the Natalia recording chaos.

Adrian DeWitt (Dieterich Gray) acted without Nina’s knowledge, but now she’s got a firm grip on the sleazeball and can get him to follow her own vision for The Invader.

Adrian is on thin ice and will be fired if he doesn’t do whatever Nina wants, so she may play that up as a good thing when it comes to Drew’s campaign.

Nina won’t get any pushback if she devotes more coverage to helping Drew’s run for Congress.

Across town, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) will officially move in their new apartment, so Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) will drop by on this significant occasion.

That’ll give Josslyn a chance to flirt with Dex and talk about the truth of a situation.

Dex might kid around about Josslyn getting tired of him already, but Josslyn will definitely appreciate all these bonding moments.

Our predictions point to Josslyn and Dex sharing a kiss soon, so their efforts to reunite romantically should keep moving in the right direction for now.

Of course, General Hospital spoilers say more trouble will inevitably strike for Dex and Josslyn down the road, so stay tuned for updates on how it’ll affect their future.
