General Hospital Spoilers: Ric’s Devious Plan to Sabotage Lucky and Liz’s Reunion – Will He Succeed?

General Hospital: Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst)

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that when it was announced that Lucky Spencer was returning, with Jonathan Jackson reprising the role, fans couldn’t help but think an L&L2 romantic reunion was on the horizon.

Lucky will slowly but surely make his way back to Port Charles; however, while he still has Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) on the brain, will another ex of hers place a wedge in their potential, “happily ever after”?

GH Spoilers: The Ric Lansing Factor

Speaking of returns, GH spoilers remind fans that Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) has emerged from under the rock he’s been under for years.

While many viewers thought his comeback would be linked to supporting his grief-stricken daughter, Molly Lansing-Davis (Kirsten Vaganos), it seems that Nurse Liz is also on his radar.

General Hospital: Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) and Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst)

Ric and Liz have gotten mighty close during the week of September 2-6. While they haven’t officially reunited, the very fact that the two have shared some one-on-one moments seems to hint that fans should brace themselves for a love triangle where Elizabeth is in the middle of two exes, contemplating which one to turn to.

GH Spoilers: Bonding Over A Moment

In addition to the “coffee” the two had, they happened to come across Alexi Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) over a bridge getting rid of the gun. LiRic will likely come forward to the police, but whether they do or don’t, the reality is that this incident bonded them.

The two will reach out to each other to talk about what they saw whether it’s in secret or simply venting – especially if they face backlash for coming forward.

Ric has a bit of a leg up on Lucky, because of this, but L&L2’s chemistry and history may outweigh it. Still, if history dictates anything, Ric will likely scheme to keep these lovebirds apart, as he has done in the past to earn the sole spot in Elizabeth’s heart.

But will Ric succeed, and will Lucky’s new Luke Spencer-ish (Anthony Geary) attitude slow things down where a romantic reunion with Liz is concerned?
