General Hospital: Anthony Geary’s Game-Changing Advice to Jonathan Jackson Revealed – Insights from the Iconic Star!
General Hospital gears for a BIG moment that we were dying to witness. Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) are about to kick off a reunion for the ages! The duo had a heartfelt moment at Bobbie’s, but there’s more emotional goodness coming our way. Jackson recently discussed this reunion and shared some words of wisdom from his TV dad, Anthony Geary (Luke Spencer). Check it out below!
“You Can’t Act Information”
The latest episode of General Hospital featured a moment that made us all shout at the top of our lungs! Remember how exciting it was when Lucky “saw” Liz while he was stuck at Jenz Sidwell’s compound? However, that version wasn’t even the real deal! This time, Lucky’s back in Port Charles and can actually share a moment with Liz in person.
It won’t be anything short of a whirlwind of emotions, GH fans! In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Jonathan dropped a little gem of advice from Anthony Geary. He said, “Tony once told me something that really stuck: ‘You can’t act information.’” This advice hit home for Jackson, and he found it super liberating.
The ABC drama actor kept this info in mind while preparing for a movie called The Deep End of the Ocean. Moreover, it goes without saying that Jonathan applied the same logic in approaching those pivotal moments with Liz. With all that rich history between Lucky and Liz, Jackson really leaned into the subtext.
He believes the setting and shared memories do a lot of the heavy lifting when conveying emotions. Lucky and Liz’s journey began way back in 1997! So, it is fascinating to see how they will navigate their complicated feelings after all these years apart. “The Lucky and Elizabeth moment is something special,” Jonathan shared.
In addition, the Lucky Spencer actor reflected on the moment during his character’s hallucination while he was a prisoner. He shared, “That dream sequence gave us a solid emotional anchor for their actual meeting.” How cool is that, right? But hold up, there’s more drama on the horizon! Lucky will soon reunite with his son, Aiden (Colin Cassidy).
Jackson had a blast playing Luke’s son, and he can’t wait to tackle some teenage drama like Lucky! Mark your calendars as Lucky and Liz’s reunion continues in the October 3 episode.
