General Hospital: Parry Shen Spills the Tea on Brad and Lucas’ Reunion — Is a Second Chance on the Horizon?
Brad Cooper is back in Port Charles to unleash some mayhem once again! The General Hospital star Parry Shen (Brad) has made his grand return to the ABC soap. We can’t help but think about his relationship with Lucas Jones, now played by Van Hansis. They’ve had quite a journey after all the baby Wiley drama and that messy baby switch deception. Will they reignite the old spark?

General Hospital spoilers recall Lucas and Brad’s relationship turning nasty after some hurtful turn of events. Who’s to blame? Well, Brad lied to Lucas about their adopted son. So, getting a second chance might be a stretch! Currently, Brad is putting pressure on Portia for tampering with Heather’s lab results. Will he also try to mend fences with Lucas and start fresh with him?
Parry Shen has some thoughts to share with us. In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, he admits that Brad’s dream is to regain Lucas’s trust. But will it go back to the way it was? “Maybe a far away, hopeful reach would be getting him back,” Shen teased. However, if Shen were Brad’s bestie, he would not encourage him to pursue this relationship again.
He would have pushed him “to move on and not pine over him.” But Brad is stubborn, and he probably wouldn’t listen. Then, what? Parry knows how to crack the friendship code, and he knows just what to do in this case. He believes, “True friends gotta give tough love sometimes!”
Meanwhile, the GH actor also dished out on working with Van Hansis, who’s bringing his A-game as the new Lucas. “I was already impressed with his work ethic but not surprised,” he shared. It turns out Parry had already done his homework on Van. The soap star watched his clips as Luke on As the World Turns and EastSiders. “I’m an incredibly thorough cyber stalker,” Parry chuckled.
