It has been years — over 16 — since we’ve seen Darcy Rose Byrnes on The Young and the Restless. For those who don’t know, aside from a couple little ones who played Abby in the very beginning, Byrnes was the first child actress to really be featured in the role on a regular basis. She may have left daytime behind before she was a teen, but now in her 20s, the actress has stayed busy over the years.
In fact, she can currently be seen onstage in Reefer Madness the Musical. Playing the role of Mary Lane, the award-winning production is filled with laughter and great music and a unique post-show party experience. Get all of the details and reserve your tickets, as the musical has now been extended through August 18.
More: See one of soaps’ former couples reunited again
Get a peek at the cast, with Byrnes leading the pack (OMG, look at her gorgeous hair!), on the red carpet of the production’s opening night back in May…
Here’s another shot of the actress as she embraced a very special someone who came out to see her perform.
And Hollywood star Kristen Bell, who played Byrnes’ character in 2005’s Reefer Madness: The Movie Musical and is a producer on the current version, can be seen with the former soap actress, who cheered, “I seriously love this team.”
Apparently, Bell went above and beyond and stepped in to help out “last minute when the dominos start falling.”
Aside from her latest gig, Byrnes has appeared in numerous primetime shows over the years such as How I Met Your Mother, Dirty Sexy Money and Desperate Housewives, as well as movies like Amish Grace, plus, she’s voiced various animated characters, including Princess Amber in Disney’s Elena of Avalor and Sofia the First.
It’s so nice to see how great thing have turned out for Byrnes and we’ll be keeping an eye out for her future endeavors!
