The Young and the Restless Week of August 5 Preview: Harrison’s Accident Enrages Kyle, Faith Busts Lucy Drinking

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers preview video for the week of August 5-9 reveals that there’ll be some drama at the Abbott mansion, where Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) will gather with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters).

When Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) comes stomping in, Summer will ask what he’s doing back there.

It’ll be obvious that Summer’s surprised to see Kyle since he’s still supposed to in Paris.

“Never mind that. How’s Harrison? And what the hell did you let happen to my son?” Kyle demands to know in Y&R’s weekly preview video.

Summer has been planning a lot of fun activities for Harrison while Kyle’s been out of town.

One of those activities may go wrong and lead to an accident that results in Harrison’s presumably minor injuries.

However, Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) will probably give Kyle updates over the phone and cause him to cut his business trip short.

Summer may defend herself and downplay whatever happened, but Kyle will no doubt use this against her in the custody fight.

Meanwhile, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will get fed up with all her Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) hallucinations, so she’ll look annoyed as she asks what he’s still doing there.

“Cameron” will claim he’s there because Sharon wants him to be, so he may think she still feels the need to punish herself for Cassie Newman’s (Camryn Grimes) grim fate.

Since “Cameron” will start influencing Sharon’s behavior, he may also act like she wants his advice deep down.

Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) will blow up over Lucy Romalotti’s (Lily Brooks O’Briant) actions during their night out at the concert.

After Faith confronts her, Lucy will beg her not to be mad. Faith will remain irate anyway as she asks who gave Lucy alcohol and how much she’s had.

Since Faith is the college-aged adult here, Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) may hold her responsible – especially if Lucy runs off and lands in more trouble.

Lucy could end up in some type of accident and leave Faith feeling guilty – just like Daniel has always felt guilty about what happened to Cassie Newman (Camryn Grimes).

Our predictions point to Lucy’s boozy bad decisions leading to terrible news, so stay tuned!
