Young and the Restless

Monday Y&R Update: Tensions Rise as Daniel Targets Sharon, Lucy Panics, and Billy Has Big Plans!

The Young and the Restless Monday, September 30 Update: Daniel Blames Sharon, Lucy Panics and Billy Reveals a Plan

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, September 30, reveals that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will keep a lid on what happened to Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom), which means she’ll have to sell a different story to Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).

Sharon will talk about confessing all her guilt at Cassie Newman’s (Camryn Grimes) grave, but Nick will assume she’s still blaming herself for what happened the night of Cassie’s accident.

However, Sharon will act like opening up to Cassie helped her see a path forward.

After Sharon talks about making multiple appointments with her doctor, she’ll make it seem like she’s really committed to accepting help.

There’ll be a close call when Heather Stevens’ (Vail Bloom) phone rings in Sharon’s purse, but Sharon will cover by lying that the new ringtone is a reminder to take her meds.

Although Nick and Mariah will still seem a bit uneasy, they’ll be pleased Sharon has taken some positive steps and that she’s home safe.

Sharon’s good news and updates on the situation will go a long way.

Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) will already be in bed asleep by then, so Sharon will convince Mariah and Nick that they can head home to get some rest, too.

Next on Monday’s Y&R episode, “Cameron Kirsten” (Linden Ashby) will praise Sharon for downloading an app to make sure no one could track Heather’s phone.

“Cameron” will also be impressed over how Sharon handled Nick and Mariah, but he’ll still think she needs him to stick around and help coach her.

Sharon will worry about what might happen if Heather’s corpse washes up, but “Cameron” will think she can cry about how awful it is that Heather’s gone and seem innocent.

“Cameron” will feel confident that Sharon has hidden her trail and that she can handle the cops’ questions.

That said, Sharon will still need to delay the investigation and create a false narrative to muddle things.

That’s why Sharon will send a text to Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) after she gets Daniel and Lucy Romalotti’s (Lily Brooks O’Briant) voicemail wondering where Heather is.

Based on what Sharon texts, it’ll seem like Heather left town for a while to clear her head because of all the Sharon drama.

Daniel will read that “Heather” was more upset than she admitted, so Lucy will think it’s her fault that her mom left.

After Daniel blames Sharon instead, he’ll work to reassure Lucy. “Heather” will claim she’s going to reach out in a few days, so Daniel will cling to the hope that she will.

Lucy will fear Heather may be gone for longer since she didn’t take her car and might’ve caught a flight. Although Lucy will work herself into a panic, Daniel will try to stay calm for her sake.

Back with Sharon, she’ll ignore Daniel’s attempts to communicate any further.

Sharon will consider the idea that Daniel might bolt from Genoa City if he believes Heather dumped him.

“Cameron” won’t think that’s real justice considering what Daniel did to Cassie, so he’ll push Sharon to eliminate him too now that she’s already taken out Heather.

Meanwhile, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will repeatedly pester Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) about giving Daniel a job at Abbott-Chancellor.

Phyllis will also wonder whether Billy’s positive he doesn’t want to accept a buyout like Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) pushed for.

Billy will refuse to back down and will have a plan to use Victoria’s concerns about the kids in his favor.

It’ll leave Billy hopeful that Victoria will divulge Victor’s plot so that he can prepare for what’s ahead.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Phyllis will assure Billy that she’s all in on helping him, so stick with us for more predictions on their alliance and any issues on the horizon.
