The Young and the Restless Bombshell: Brytni Sarpy Makes Explosive Return as Elena Dawson for Major Milestone Episode!

The Young and the Restless’ Brytni Sarpy Announces She’s Returning To Soap, Reprising Elena Dawson Character For Milestone Show

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers suggest that it’s been a hot minute since Dr. Elena Dawson has been seen in Genoa City; however, it sounds like that’s all about to change.

Actress Brytni Sarpy recently alerted her Instagram followers about some exciting news – that she’s returned to the Y&R and is on set filming!

Sarpy posted some really fun pictures and videos on her IG Story that indicates she’s back in the land of GC.

The first photo was a selfie of her behind a door, with a caption that reads, “Just popping in to say hello to the fam…”

Of course, Sarpy tagged the official Y&R IG account to her Story.

The next was a video uploaded showing Sarpy getting a bit emotional as she reads a sign on her dressing room door that states, “13,000 episodes” and, under that “Brytni Sarpy, Dr. Elena Dawson, Welcome back — we miss you!!!”

Her caption on the IG video story read, “Missed you too (sad face emoji)”.

Last, but not least, her IG Story had a photo of her with Hayley Erin, who currently plays Claire Newman, on the Y&R.

General Hospital fans may recall a time when Erin played Kiki Jerome on the soap, while Sarpy played Valerie Spencer.

The caption on this IG Story photo states, “9 years later” and “Is it Valerie & Kiki or Elena & Claire?”

It’s clear that Sarpy is very excited to be back and will likely participate in the Y&R’s 13,000 milestone show.

The actress entered the role of Elena Dawson back in 2019 and dove right into some high-profile storylines and romances with cousins, Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic).

Still, it’s been a very long while since Elena has been seen in the little town.

Her character slowly vanished from the canvas after Nate dumped her for Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) back in March 2023.

Could all that change now with Sarpy’s big return?

No additional details about an airdate return or a storyline are available at this time.

The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that the show’s 13,000 episode promises to be a big one, so fans need to stay tuned to CDL for more information as it comes down the pipeline.
