The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Phyllis Discovers Shocking Secret – Sharon Behind Heather’s Death?
The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) has no time for Sharon Newman (Sharon Case).
These longtime enemies are at loggerheads, though Phyllis doesn’t yet realize Sharon’s role in Daniel Romalotti’s (Michael Graziadei) grief.
Sharon believes she killed Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom). But viewers still need confirmation. Instead, a purposefully sporadic series of real-time, flashback, and flashforward scenes created doubt.
It’s possible that Sharon did not kill Heather. That seems likely because Case is working in her thirtieth anniversary year on Y & R and can’t be written off to jail indefinitely. However, it’s also possible that Case could be leaving the show and that news is being withheld from the audience.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Is Sharon Case Wrapping Her Run?
Case became the third actor to play what was then a newly invented character in 1994. The intent in introducing Sharon was to pair her with the SORAS’d (soap opera rapid aging syndrome) version of Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), who returned that same year from board school.
The high school sweethearts bonded and eventually married. One of the more endearing and enduring storylines from that era was Nick helping Sharon to find Cassie Newman (Camryn Grimes), who was given up for adoption at birth. Of course, Sharon did not know she had twins (Mariah Copeland and Grimes) until many years later.
It would be quite a shocker if Case is wrapping up her run, did kill Heather, and will be spending the rest of her life behind bars or in a mental institution. Hopefully, that’s not true because Case arguably ranks with the best daytime actors.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Heather Stevens Takes The Fall
It initially appeared that Daniel was going to bite the bullet. But Sharon dismissed Cameron Kirsten’s (Linden Ashby) permeation of her mind.
So, the shift to getting Daniel by hurting someone he loved developed. Phyllis would have been an easy answer as the target.
Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) became the next likely option because of her pushed obsession with Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) and the subsequent car accident. That plot path should have been taken, too.
So, Heather, the fourth option, emerged. Sharon didn’t want her to die but had to when Bloom’s character unlocked the apartment door.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Phyllis Summers Holds Nothing Back
Daniel and Lucy were stunned that Sharon would question them for details about Heather. However, they needed to be more patient in considering why that effort was made.
Phyllis saw Sharon shortly after her confrontation with Daniel and Lucy at Chancellor Park. But Stafford’s character didn’t catch on. Instead, she excoriated Sharon for focusing on herself rather than the tragedy of Heather’s passing and how that affected Daniel and Lucy.
Of everyone living in Genoa City, Wisconsin, Phyllis ranks first among everyone as the person who would want Sharon taken down. How ironic it would be that the lady who had an affair with Nick following Cassie’s death would become the character who first learns that Sharon killed Heather.
Of course, if Sharon proves innocent, then Phyllis will eat soapy crow. However, plenty of super plot would play out between the assumption that Sharon is guilty, including Sharon’s assumed guilt, and her assumed exoneration and the reveal of whoever the real killer is.
