The Young and the Restless Update October 14: Billy and Sally’s Tense Clash – Lily’s Desperate SOS to Jill!
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, October 14, reveals that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will admit Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) was right about Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) manipulating her and planning to put Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) in charge of Chancellor.
Although Devon will think Lily needs to let it go and come work at Winters with him, she’ll refuse to abandon Chancellor and will plan to go after Victor along with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
In the park, Lily will get Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) on a video call and admit the situation is dire.
After Lily trashes Billy for all his mistakes, she’ll think the company could be dismantled if they don’t do something.
Since Jill will be feeling much stronger following her treatments, she’ll insist she has to be the one to deal with Billy and put him in his place.
At the athletic club, Nikki will give Victor updates on her confession to Lily, but he won’t be upset about it.
Victor will claim he always knew Nikki would admit the truth at some point.
Nikki will wonder about Lily’s next move and the bad news that could be brewing, but Victor will feel certain that what comes next will lead to Billy’s downfall.
Meanwhile, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will give Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) the perfect pep talk after she confesses she got fired from Glissade.
Audra will appreciate Nate’s willingness to just support her instead of trying to give her advice.
After Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) has another argument with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), she’ll call Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) and ask if they can talk.
Michael will meet up with Diane to comfort her over Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) betrayal and all the Jack friction, but their time together won’t be pleasant once Victor enters the picture.
Victor will take this opportunity to accuse Diane of being greedy and driven by money as well as power.
After Victor suggests Jack is finally seeing the light, he’ll make a prediction about Diane’s divorce and contend that she’s going to lose everything.
Once Diane storms out on Monday’s Y&R episode, Victor will gloat to Michael about his scheme against the Abbotts paying off.
With Jabot headed for disaster and Jack’s marriage headed for a dissolution, Victor will definitely be pleased with himself.
In the park again, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will bump into Billy shortly before Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) appear looking tickled pink.
Chelsea and Adam will admit they’re in a good mood because of Connor Newman’s (Judah Mackey) family therapy session.
Adam will praise Chelsea for how she problem solved with their son, but Sally and Billy will mostly stand there looking uncomfortable.
Later, Jack will spot Adam entering Crimson Lights with Chelsea, so he’ll ask if Adam is to blame for Billy and Chelsea’s split.
Adam will take responsibility for hurting Billy and Sally, but he’ll defend his closeness with Cheslea since Connor needs his mom and dad on the same team.
Jack will open up about his continued issues with Kyle, so Adam will reflect on fatherhood and suggest that the anguish is worth it.
Although Jack will thank Adam for that reminder, he’ll worry it may be too late to fix things with Kyle.
Once Jack exits, Chelsea will walk over and wonder if everything’s all right. After Adam says Jack will be fine, he’ll assure Chelsea that the same goes for them.
Back with Billy and Sally, they’ll spend a little time connecting with each other in the park.
Sally will maintain that her relationship with Adam is over for good since what he has with Chelsea is unbreakable.
Although Billy will know he has to put Chelsea behind him, he’ll confess his struggle to let go.
Billy will wish he were as far along in the process as Sally, but she’ll think he’ll get there eventually.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sally and Billy may be inching closer to a kiss or even a hookup, so stay tuned.
