The Young and the Restless: Sean Carrigan Back at the Studio—Is Ben ‘Stitch’ Rayburn Making a Shocking Return to Genoa City?

The Young and the Restless’ Sean Carrigan Spotted Back at Studio, Is Ben ‘Stitch’ Rayburn Returning to GC?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Michelle Stafford (Phyllis Summers) recently had a behind-the-scenes bash to celebrate a huge milestone. It’s been 30 years since Stafford made her debut in the role of Phyllis Summers, so a party was held in her honor – complete with cupcakes sporting her photo!

Plenty of familiar faces were there to support Stafford’s incredible work over the years. Many of Stafford’s co-stars took part in the fun, including one who hasn’t been seen on-screen in a while.

Sean Carrigan (Ben “Stitch” Rayburn) was spotted back at the studio for this event and posed for pics with Stafford during the celebration.

Stafford addressed Carrigan’s attendance in an interview with SOD, so let’s look at what she had to say.

“He was so sweet to come. He’s a homie,” Stafford insisted.

Of course, it’s entirely possible that Sean Carrigan just came because he’s friends with Stafford and wanted to show her some love on her big day.

However, we should also consider the possibility that Carrigan has been filming again.

If Stitch’s return is in the works, that’s obviously not something Stafford would be able to spill.

In that case, it’d be smart for Stafford to say exactly what she said – that Carrigan was sweet to come and play up their friendship.

Stafford could be telling the truth without revealing the whole story if Sean Carrigan’s back on the show.

After all, Stitch’s storyline was left dangling back in 2021.

That’s when Stitch kidnapped Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes), who was pregnant with Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware) as part of the surrogacy arc.

Stitch ultimately got busted, but he managed to make a break for it and stole Max Rayburn (Jared Breeze) from his facility.

Stitch remains on the run to this day, which brings the potential for him to reenter the picture sooner or later.

Max was previously in bad shape, so what if Stitch’s son passed away off-screen – especially without the proper care of the medical team he was used to?

Stitch might kidnap Dominic as a replacement child – or maybe he could just decide to turn himself in if he feels he has nothing left to live for.

Either way, it’d be nice if Stitch could come back and give his storyline some closure.

We’ll be sure to pass along updates if any comings and goings news confirms Stitch’s return.

Our Y&R predictions hint that Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) and Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) have some surprises in their future, so maybe Stitch will put their happy family in jeopardy!

The Young and the Restless spoilers say some cast shockers and shakeups are still to come, so don’t miss what’s brewing in Genoa City.
